By using OutputInsights, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Peloton Workout Data
OutputInsights imports and analyzes your Peloton workout data from your Peloton Bike, Bike+, or compatible Peloton app workouts. This data is:
- Downloaded directly from Peloton’s API when you authenticate and sync your account
- Stored locally on your device for analysis and viewing
- Not transmitted to our servers - all processing occurs on-device
- Workout data includes: ride metrics (output, cadence, resistance), dates, instructors, duration, personal records, and other Peloton-provided workout statistics
Account Information
When you connect your Peloton account:
- We temporarily use your Peloton credentials to authenticate and download your workout history
- Credentials are not stored by OutputInsights after authentication
- No other personal account information (name, email, payment details) is collected or stored
Information Collected by Third-Party Analytics (Google Firebase)
To improve the App and fix bugs, we use Google’s Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data that does not identify you personally.
- Firebase Analytics: App usage patterns (e.g., feature usage, app version, device type, OS version) to inform development decisions
- Crashlytics: Technical crash details (device model, OS version, stack traces) to diagnose stability issues
Important: Workout data and Peloton metrics are never sent to Firebase.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected:
- To analyze and display your Peloton workout data locally on your device (workout logs, calendars, personal records, trends)
- To improve App functionality and stability (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
- To troubleshoot and resolve bugs (via Crashlytics)
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or workout data with third parties.
- Peloton Data: Never shared with anyone. Stays on your device.
- Third-Party Service Providers: Only anonymous analytics data is shared with Google Firebase, as described above.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or similar legal process.
4. Data Storage and Deletion
- Workout Data: Stored locally using iOS standard secure storage mechanisms
- Data Deletion: When you delete the App or clear app data, all imported Peloton workout data is removed from your device
- No Cloud Sync: We do not offer cloud backup or sync features
5. Third-Party Services

Your use of OutputInsights requires a Peloton account and is subject to Peloton’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Apple In-App Purchases
Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple. We do not receive or store payment information.
Google Firebase

6. Data Security
- Local Encryption: Workout data benefits from iOS device encryption
- No Server Storage: Eliminates server breach risk
- Secure Authentication: Uses Peloton’s secure OAuth flow
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Delete Data: Uninstall the App or delete imported workouts within the App
- Disconnect Peloton: Revoke access in Peloton account settings
- Analytics: Opt-out by uninstalling or managing app permissions
- Subscriptions: Manage via Apple App Store settings
8. Subscription Information
OutputInsights offers free features and Pro subscriptions (monthly, annual, lifetime, family plans). All payments are handled securely by Apple.
9. Children’s Privacy
OutputInsights is not intended for children under 13. Peloton workout data typically belongs to adults.
10. International Data Transfers
Workout data remains on your device. Analytics data sent to Google Firebase is subject to Google’s international data transfer practices.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new policy.
